Yanchep Beach Lagoon Redevelopment

Went to the Lagoon this morning, hot weather, car parks full, beach crowded. Had a bit of a protest re parallel parking, position of proposed car parks etc. Photo taken with Mayor, deputy Mayor, Councillor & others. The flies were everywhere, then the clouds rolled in & within a few minutes lighting struck, thunder roared & down came the rain. The lightning started a fire in the bush just about where the new road will go.  The beach was vacated, most people ran for cover, the flies disappeared & the rain put the fire out.

 Temperature dropped & the Cafe did well. I went home to change out of wet clothes (knew I should have had bathers on!).
